Any news on and a possible NBC address for Katims?

Ooops sorry. I'll check it out over the weekend. Real life has been really crazy lately. I'll check to see how the ratings are and see if it'll be hanging around. :D With the writer's strike a lot of the series are having a problem and are getting switched out for mid season new shows.

I totally get how RL can get, especially around this time of year. Check when you can. Do you know if shows that were previously NOT picked up for a season might be considered in a situation like this? I am thinking of Jason Behr's series The Way and the possibility of showing the pilot just to fill air time...

I'm not sure. I know that Shiri's series "To Live and Die in L.A." has been picked up by USA, it's going to take the place of either the 4400 or the Dead Zone since both have been canceled. I know Jason was working on a pilot for FOX called the 'Company Man' but it wasn't picked up (that might have been The Way at one time, they kept changing the title :huh: )

I was reading about a few of the series that have no new episodes written and so they have been 'killed' according to Yahoo News... Bionic Woman being one of them... I mention this one because, of course, Katims was writing on that show. Wouldn't this be a great time to remind him (once again) of a show he once touched us all with...you know the show of which I speak...and tell him that this is a VERY good time to focus a little attention on a continued story line for that beloved show. I assume that Friday Night Lights writers are also not at their desks even if they had a few new stories lined up before they walked out, which means he must have even more time to try to fill. How can we get to him?!!!!

I just read that Friday Night Lights was one of the lowest watched shows, so that isn't a good thing for Katims, again. With the writer's strike going on I don't know if he's even getting into his office. I'll check with Roswellmouse to see if she thinks it would be worth a try to contact him through NBC. Television sure is a fickle world, too bad there isn't a general address for the ones we want to contact, one that isn't connected to any show or network so that when they move on they can still get their mail. For now just keep sending to Frakes. Hopefully things will pick up soon and don't give up, more and more shows are getting picked for movies and with Katie, Jason and Shiri being seen more and more that can only work in our favor showing TPTB that they have a following. Now to convince them that the following is from the Roswell fans :wink:

Can i just say how much I love your positive attitude and your dedication to this ongoing project! You keep me motivated, that is for sure. Does anyone on this board ever visit the Roswellfanatics board? If so, can we/should we attach the link for this site to our signatures to try to get more visitors to this one? I was looking around on the board over there and they had an outdated link for the old movie board and it was on a forum for campaigns that no one had visited or commented on for a year. Just a thought. B~

Thanks, we have to reamin positive. It took the original Star Trek 10 years to get their first movie and look where that led :wink: I used to post there a long time ago but haven't been there for a long time. Go to your Profile (top of page) and where you see signature (there's a big window beside it), put . To get the URL, simply rt click on the image, hit PROPERTIES, rt click and COPY the URL and then paste it in between the . Hope that helps.

Alright kids, what the news on Katims and/or Nutter contact info? I feel like I haven't been here in ages and need to get back in the groove. Just need a place to direct the energy. Any direction will help. :lol:

They are really hard to track down because their projects keep changing. RB, have you heard anything?

Not lately. It seems like everytime Katims gets something going it gets canceled. I keep hearing things about about Friday Night Lights, one time it's going then it's staying and with the writer's strike I'm not sure what's what anymore. I'll try to do some checking around and will let you know what I find out.

Well, I guess it's been later than sooner :oops: I finally got to check on Katims and his address at NBC. Seems his show "Friday Night Lights" has been renewed, but won't show up on the schedule til next January and the renewal was for only 13 episodes. Since the show isn't really in production right now RM and I thought we should wait til then to consider it. I'll keep trying to find a non-network related address for him (we couldn't really send stuff addressed to FOX to NBC anyway). Thanks everyone for your continued interest in the movie :D
