FOX to Re-Release all 3 seasons with new artwork
I just got a e-mail from TV Shows on Dvd saying that FOX is re-releasing all 3 seasons of Roswell with new artwork, giving Katie a more prominent showing. If they're doing this, maybe they'll start planning a Roswell movie to take advantage of her new popularity. Fingers crossed ;) . The new packaging will be available in April. This is sooo exciting, but I'm a bit torn. Though I appreciate any attention that Katherine and Emilie will bring to the show, (I think they are great!!) I am afraid that if it is a truly successful campaign to sell more DVDs, that when a movie is made, it will focus instead on the characters of Izzy and Tess to sell the movie instead of the love story between Max and Liz. Who am I kidding, if it gets a movie made, and the writers can still be true to what made us love this story in the first place, then it'll be a great movie, right? I hope the repackaging helps!

We're hoping that the first season writing team will be doing the movie when it happens. Of course Jason Katims will be on board since the show was his baby to begin with so I'm sure they will stay true to the main focus of the story. Just the thought that FOX is willing to re-release is a good sign for something, because no matter how much Katie and Emily are known, if the DVDs didn't sell well to begin with I don't think FOX would be investing the money to reissure them. So we'll just have to stay tuned to see what happens next. :)

hi roswellbrat thanks for bringing such good news about the dvds, there must be some kind of buzz going around fox studios and katims etc . maybe now they are kicking themselves that they had the best actors on a show that fox decided not to show roswell no more. so while we are here lets start rallying all the troops again maybe we can send the new covers of the dvds to fox any ideas roswellbrat im so excited we will have a movie guys like this board says we are still here and lets start sending the snailmail and banners maybe we can ask roswellbrat or cafepress to design a new tshirt :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

i know guys roswell was about the love about max and liz but any publicity on the dvds with the katherine heigl sticker emmy award winner is a bonus after all her and emille have been in other series which just shows fox and others how wrong they were to let roswell slip fron their fingers and what a great cast roswell had so with a little exposure we may see roswell return to its rightful place,just think guys they will have to pay higher salarys to the cast now which means more talented writers old and new will want to have a bite of the roswell bone .we us fans still have to show our support to the cast and crew of roswell and buy the dvds which will bring in more money and fans to the awesome boards dedicated to roswell.we will have roswell back in the news :D :D :D

I just got this email from the lady in charge of the Roswell title on DVD at Fox. I called to find out if they were adding anything. Thought i would share. We are just doing a repackage but no additional content is going in the disc. Best Buy is doing a series boxset with all three seasons at a reduced price (about 30% off each individual season) but I’m sure all the fans have all seasons or at least partial ones so that is not really relevant. We wanted to basically see if we could get new fans since Katherine Heigl was gaining popularity.
