Lost Cause? [My Personal Concern]
So it's been 5 years since this shows demise and I think maybe the hope of a Roswell movie is a little lost. The actors are all older now and have moved on from Roswell; since most of the cast is hitting the big "30" it would be a little harder for them to play their teenage characters anyway. I just got into this show a few weeks back and have been hooked. I watched all 3 seasons in a week and love it. But looking at "Firefly" which was also canceled it was easier for the actors to get back into their characters since they weren't playing teenagers. Unless they make everyone adults in the movie. It just seems like nothing is happening really about the movie and maybe it's just something that'll never happen. The Firefly fans were extremely adamant in the movie for an extremely long time which gave Joss the incentive to get the Firefly characters on the big or small screen some kind of way. It seems that the Roswell fans (not all) have kinda given up. Katims as well. Sorry I didn't know where to put this so .... :(

Well, it was over 10 years for the original Star Trek movie to be made, and look where that led. We will never give up hope until they come out and say it will never happen. As far as age goes, Jason was 26 when he played Max, so he was far from being a teenager even then. We assume that when the movie is made that it will be taking place in their future so age shouldn't be any problem. As far as a following goes...the following is international and we get new fans all the time. Katims wants the movie as much as we do, it's his 'baby', but he must also take care of his life now, too. Jonathan Frakes is still behind it as is David Nutter. We even had a letter from him before the old forums were hacked. So don't give up hope, you'd be surprised the people that say "Oh yea, I remember that show, I loved it." We really need to keep the snail mail going and hopefully we'll have an address for Katims/FOX soon. I'm going to lock this now. If you'd like to add anything about this, please post it under "Roswell the Series."
