Just caught Katherine Heigl on Oprah!!!
She seems like the nicest, most grounded famous person ever.
I did notice that when she was talking about here career pre-Grey, she was listing things that she had been involved in, but either she wouldn't/couldn't or at least didn't say, "Roswell'.
Funny enough it seemed she was going to but as the 'rrr' sound came rolling off her tongue she quickly changed what she was going to say and said,'...small television series...' instead. Wonder why...
Couldn't be a contract issue could it? I mean, they are redistributing the whole series because of her fame, aren't they?
I have a feeling Katherine might not be entirely interested in making a Roswell movie. Bummer. That's only my impression. |

That is strange, I know she's talked about it before. I think that's where a lot of her Grey's following comes from. Yea FOX is using her name as a big catch for the new release, so it doesn't make sense. Maybe it's a good thing _________________

I just heard on our local ABC news that Katie will be back in Greys this season. They wanted to stop any rumors that there was a problem. They said she's getting a great story line this year and it'll be key to the show :D

An article on stars that got their starts in horror movies mentioned Katherine and her start on Bride of Chucky with lead to her role on ROSWELL!! :0)
yay!
"Before she was sleeping with a dead guy on "Grey's Anatomy,"
before she wore 27 bridesmaid dresses, and before she
got "Knocked Up," Katherine Heigl got her big break as Jade in "The
Bride of Chucky." It was not her first film, but it did lead to her
work on the sci-fi TV drama "Roswell," which opened the door to
her current role as Dr. Izzie Stevens. Rumors keep swirling that
Heigl is leaving the show, but "Grey's" producers insist she's sticking
around. Maybe if they add an animatronic killer doll as her next love
interest she'll be compelled to stay."

Yet another article about our beloved Katherine Heigl!
With her success in the new movie "The Ugly Truth", Yahoo has taken a quick look at how she and co-star Gerard Butler became actors...
| Quote: | | Almost immediately after graduating from New Canaan High School in Connecticut, she and her mom -- who remains her manager to this day -- piled their stuff in the car and drove to L.A. In 1999, she landed a gig on the cult TV series "Roswell" as an alien-human hybrid. The show sputtered along for three seasons before finally succumbing to a terminal case of low ratings. For the next year or so, Heigl's career stalled. She was in contention for the leads in "Felicity" and "Alias" but failed to land both parts. She was thinking about quitting the industry altogether until she managed to nab the role of Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens in "Grey's Anatomy." |
